WCSEP MEMBERSHIP
Requirements for Becoming a WCSEP Member:
Your primary job involves selling a venue site to the general public for private event use.
Typical job titles include Events Coordinator/Manager, Sales Coordinator/Manager, Wedding Specialist, or Hospitality Director.
Contractors focused on building a private events program at a venue with an established private events program are also eligible.
WCSEP Membership Dues:
Currently, there are no monthly or yearly dues for WCSEP membership.
Some meetings or events may have occasional costs, determined by the venue host.
WCSEP Events Hosting:
WCSEP events are typically hosted monthly, with the location changing each month.
Meetings are usually held on the third Thursday of every month, with timing (9:00am – 11:00am,
12:00pm – 2:00pm, 3:00pm – 5:00pm, or 4:00pm – 6:00pm) chosen by the venue host.
Beverages and snacks are provided by the host or in partnership with a caterer.
Hosting a WCSEP Event:
Members are expected to host a monthly WCSEP meeting within one year of joining.

Maintaining Your Membership:
Attendance at a minimum of 3 meetings per year is required to maintain membership.
Attendance can be in person or virtual if offered.
Non-attendance may result in membership being revisited.
